Three Defined Services for Pension Matters
Each service is structured with a clear scope, a fixed or staged price, and a written outcome. You know what you are engaging before you commit.

A Systematic Approach to Each Matter
Each Ashmeridian engagement begins with a careful reading of the documentation you provide, followed by an assessment of the applicable legal framework — statutory provisions, scheme rules, and relevant case law. We identify the points of substance and set out the available courses of action in terms that are practical to follow.
We do not pursue every possible argument — we pursue the ones that have a solid legal basis and are proportionate to the matter at hand. Pension disputes that proceed beyond correspondence are rare; most clients find that a clear, formal articulation of their position produces movement from an administrator who had been unresponsive to informal enquiry.

Service 01
Initial Pension Consultation
MYR 450 · Single engagement
A structured 90-minute consultation to understand your pension situation, review the documentation you bring, and discuss the legal framework applicable to your matter. The consultation produces a written summary note of the discussion, including issues identified and possible courses of action. No obligation to engage further work arises from the consultation.
This service is appropriate for those considering whether to pursue a pension dispute, those seeking clarity on their entitlement before retirement, and those who have received communications from an administrator and are uncertain what they mean or require.

Service 02
Administrator Correspondence & Negotiation
From MYR 1,900 · Staged billing
Where a dispute with a pension administrator has been identified, Ashmeridian conducts correspondence and negotiation on your behalf. This typically involves a formal written submission of the dispute, review of the administrator's response, and structured negotiation to resolve matters without contentious proceedings where possible.
Work is billed in stages with clear scope agreed at each step. Before each stage begins, the scope and anticipated cost are confirmed in writing. You are not committed to the next stage until you choose to proceed. Many pension matters resolve at this stage when the legal position is clearly articulated.
- Formal written submission prepared
- Administrator responses reviewed and addressed
- Negotiation conducted on your behalf
- Client kept informed at each stage
- Written record of all correspondence maintained
Service 03
Retirement Planning Legal Review
MYR 1,200 · Single engagement
A considered legal review for clients approaching retirement who wish to understand their pension position, the interaction between multiple pension arrangements, and their entitlements under applicable legislation. This is a planning service rather than a dispute service — appropriate for those who have not encountered a problem but want a clear picture before retirement commences.
The review includes a careful reading of your scheme documentation, identification of relevant statutory protections, and written advice on any matters requiring attention before retirement. If issues are identified that require further action, those are clearly described with costs indicated separately.
